Currently the Indonesian government has approved imports that meet the ISRI Specifications for outthrows.
However, it is reported that in coming months the Indonesian government would release new standard for waste paper import with a maximum allowable impurity level of 2 percent, decreasing over several years to a targeted 0.5 percent.
